The School of Humanities and Social Sciences of our school will host the Summer Chinese Language Program (TISLP) planned by the American Councils for International Education (TISLP) starting from 2023, and provided by the Fulbright-Hays of the U.S. Department of Education and the Taiwan Ministry of Education. The Taiwan Intensive Summer Language Program (TISLP) provides scholarships. Tsinghua University is the first school in Taiwan to receive the Fulbright-Hays Chinese Scholarship. Every summer, 18 to 30 American college students and graduate students will come. Our school conducts immersive Chinese language learning for 8 weeks (mid-June to early August). In addition to intensive Chinese courses, this program also arranges cultural classes every week, language companions for university students and graduate students, cultural trips, and hosting families. It not only effectively improves language skills, but also enables students to have a better understanding of Taiwanese culture, customs and people. Deep understanding.
